A 22 year old Abdulrasheed Aminu and his 27 year old partner in crime Ismaila Mohammed are currently in Niger state police custody following the beheading of one Hassan Abubakar of Bakajeba Paiko L.G.A over the weekend.
The suspects Abdulrasheed an indigene of Lupa and Mohammed who is from makera settlement were arrested late Saturday night by the IGP Special Tactical Squad attached to Niger State Police Command after some close monitoring of issues in the area.
Both Abdulrasheed and Mohammed latter confessed that they cut off their victim’s head with the use of two sharpened knife and that the third person involved in the crime one Ibrahim, is still at large.
The victim’s father Abubakar Shuaib while giving account of the incident said his son was last seen on Saturday, taking a kettle of water from the house to give an unknown person waiting outside and since then he was nowhere to be found, until he heard that Police arrested suspects with human head and he identified the victim as his son.
