Inside Sources has authoritatively gathered that the bus conveying players and some officials of the FC Ifeanyi Ubah was yesterday involved in an auto crash on their way to Ijebu Ode for Nigerian Professional Football League match day 36 game.
The accident which happened few minutes before noon along the Benin/Ore expressway according to sources inflicts several degrees of injuries on players and other officials of the team while two other players were said to have lost consciousness.
The Club’s manager in a statement released few hours after the crash said “Six of our players sustained a varying degree of injuries and two that are unconscious hitherto have regained consciousness and are receiving treatment presently at the closest medical facility near the site of the accident. We wish to express our felicitations for your concern, support, an outpour of emotions, deepest thoughts and prayers at this sad times.”
