Trouble might be building up in Kogi state as the former minority leader of Kogi state House of Assembly and member representing Igalamela/Odolu State constituency Hon. Friday Sani Makama has dragged the governor of Kogi state Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Accountant General before the Kogi State High Court for allegedly disobeying court orders for his reinstatement and payment of arrears of his salaries and allowances
Makama, in the suit filled through his Counsel, J. S. Okutepa (SAN) prayed the court to arrest the speaker of the Kogi Speaker, Hon. Matthew Kolawole alongside the state governor, the state Commissioner of Justice and one Hon. Godwin Osuyi for failing to abide by the court order on his reinstatement and payment
Inside Sources gathered that the Kogi State High Court in its June 29 2017 sitting in Lokoja had delivered a judgment which it quashed suspension of the embattled lawmaker and had ordered his reinstatement and payment of all entitlements to him, but rather the parties ignored the court pronouncement.
