FG TO BUILD CASHEW PROCESSING FACTORY IN KOGI

According to the Kogi state commissioner for Agriculture, Mr. Kehind Oloruntoba, the president Muhammade Buhari led federal government are perfecting arrangements for the establishment of a 10,000 hectare land capacity cash crop plantation in the state.

The commissioner made this known when he led a high profile delegation on a working visit to the palace of the Attah igala, His majesty, Dr. Idakwo Michael Ameh Oboni II, at Idah, Kogi State

Oloruntoba during the visit disclosed that the actual planting would begin before the end of the fourt quarter of 2017, as arrangements have also been concluded towards establishment of a cashew processing factory in Anyigba, to avoid the current practice of selling the produce at giveaway prices to buyers who use it for various products.
