The Malawian police has arrested a gang of 124 people after a vigilante mob killed two men who were accused of being vampires.
According to reports made available to Inside Sources, the deceased try to obtain human blood for voodoo rituals.
The Malawi Police spokesman, Ramsy Mushani told Journalists that one person was burnt and another stoned to death by the angry mobs in the Thursday incident for being suspected to be a blood sucker.
Sources in the Malawian police disclosed that the 124 people arrested coordinated the killing in the southern city of Blantyre when a group of angry residents accused an epileptic man of being a vampire.
Meanwhile the United Nation and U.S. Embassy in Malawi has issued warning to foreigners visiting southern Malawi to thread carefully in the city to avoid been a victim of circumstances.
