Absence of two key defence has stalled the proceeding of the former National Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party Oliseh Metuh over the sum of N 400million he allegedly collected from the office of the National Security Adviser in 2014.
Metuh had in the last hearing requested for the former president Goodluck Jonathan as key defence in the case while the former national security adviser Col Sambo Dasuki was also mentioned as a principal testifier but both Jonathan and Sambo were said to be absent at Wednesday October 25 hearing.
According to Punch, Jonathan was said to be absent due to the inability of the court bailiff to serve him with the court’s subpoena on Tuesday, October 24, it was gathered that the department of state service in whose custody Dasuku is detained has yet to produce the ex-NSA in court.
