TEEN MODEL SLUMPS AND DIED ON RUNWAY

A 14-year-old model, Vlada Dzyuba on a three-month ‘slave labour’ contract assignment in China, has been confirmed dead after she was said to have slumped few moments before she hit the run way for catwalk.

The model according to The Siberian Times slumped while taking part in a 13-hour Asian fashion show in Shanghai and never regained consciousness, until she was confirmed dead two days later.

The teen model who according to the doctor died of meningitis compounded by severe exhaustion was said to have no medical insurance when she was recruited by the agency.

Mother of the teen model Mrs. Oksana who had tried to get visa to be with her at the assignment said “the preliminary cause of death is meningitis compounded by severe exhaustion. She was calling me, saying ‘Mama, I am so tired. I so much want to sleep. It must have been the very beginning of the illness and then her temperature shot up. I didn’t sleep myself and was calling her constantly, begging her to go to hospital. Minutes later she collapsed and was unconscious an ambulance was called but she died on Friday after two days in a coma.“
