An Imo Indigene, Chinwe Oge Udeariry, has claimed that the Imo state governor Rochas Okorocha allegedly gave her pensioner mother Mrs. Udeariry dud cheque after going through every necessary stages and procedures to get her pension.
Oge who took to her Facebook page lamented bitterly after her aged mother went through such hectic procedures all to be given a dud cheque by the Imo state Government whom she served during her youthful age.
Oge on her facebook wrote “So my mom collected her pension cheque last week and was really happy that after so many verifications she was paid, only for her to go to bank and it was a dud cheque. Our governor is now giving dud cheque to pensioners, but he has enough money to erect Jacob Zuma statue. This is men and women that worked 30 years in service to their state and Country. And people will say this man has a conscience”.
Inside Sources authoritatively gathered that even the laborers who worked on the construction freedom park in 2015 had same experience as more facebook users also took to the comments to lament to sharr their parents’ similar experiences.
