OBASANJO RE-ASSURED NIGERIANS OF BETTER DAYS AHEAD

Former president of the federal republic of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has assured Nigerians that the current economic situation will be a thing of history if only they keep their hope alive.

Obasanjo gave this advice in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital on Sunday during the 52nd annual service of songs of the Evangelical Church of West Africa.

According to the ex-president, no matter the difficulties and challenges the country is going through now, the nation will come out stronger after its exit from economic recession which made life extremely unbearable for the citizens.

Obasanjo who spoke in Yoruba dialect told the worshippers that although many graduates are unemployed and business owners are not finding it easy in their businesses yet, the country was on her path to greatness and sustainable growth.

It will be recalled that Nigeria in early 2016, went into economic recession, but in September 2017, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, Nigerian had come out of the recession.
