More Ministers and preachers of the gospel have clarified the air over the issue of tithing raised by the cool FM On Air Personality Daddy Freeze which has generated criticism and counter criticism.
Wife of the General Overseer of a Lagos based church The Victorious Army Ministries International Pastor Blessing Agboli, who recently joined several men of God kicking against Freeze’s comment said tithes and offering alone are not enough to purchase private jet as assumed by the radio presenter.
Pastor Agboli while refuting Freeze claims hinted that most church leaders with private jets acquired them not with tithes and offerings gathered from their members.
Wife of the G.O during a press conference in Lagos said “offerings cannot buy private jets. You cannot just park a jet without making a business out of it. Owning a private jet is not a sin and those who have them should never be apologetic. I don’t think offerings can buy jets. I don’t think pastors also should apologize for making and spending money. That we are pastors does not mean we should be poor”
