After winning the Miss India beauty pageant, Manushi Chhillar who represents her country in the Miss World beauty contest has beaten over 108 beauty Queens from all over the world to emerge as the winner of the 2017 edition of the Miss World beauty pageant.
The final year medical student re-write her country’s history when she was crowned at the Sanya City Arena in China, after beating the top five contestants from England, France, Kenya, Mexico to emerge the winner of the 2017 pageant.
The new Miss World while feeding questions from journalists said “as a kid, I always wanted to participate in the competition but I never knew I would make it this far. Winning the Miss World title is now not just my dream, but also that of my family and friends. I know it’s going to be a journey that I will never forget. Whatever the result, I am going to learn, enjoy and give it my best. The rest, I leave to destiny.”
