The Deputy Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State Alhaji Shuaib Burangan, has described the victory of APC in the just concluded local government election in Kwara as a blessing to the people of the state.
Speaking with Inside Sources at his Baruten Local Government, the Deputy Chairman who urged all the elected candidates to carry every stakeholder along and govern with the fear of Allah described APC victory at the poll as well deserved and reflected the wish of the people.
Burangan appealed to them to shun tribalism and focus on their electioneering campaign promises, particularly infrastructural development, and unemployment among the youths as well other important issues concerning the masses.
According to him, “the party’s victory would further mark a new beginning for the change which people are clamoring for, more especially at the grassroot areas.
He commended the leadership of the party in the state, under the umbrella of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, and Gov. Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State and other stakeholders for their appreciable support and cooperation towards the conduct of the polls across the state.
