After a short period of silence, the deadly badoo group seems to have resumed operation again at the Ikorodu area of Lagos.
According to reports, the terrorist group struck the Igbogbo area of Ikorodu killed a clergyman with the Redeemed Christian Church of God leaving his wife and 10-month-old baby unconscious.
The cleric identified as Victor Kanayo was said to have been killed using two big stones which was found beside him to smash his head till he gave up his ghost.
The recent attack it was gathered came few days after the Lagos state commissioner of police Imohimi Edgal had a stakeholders meeting at the palace of the Ikorodu monarch, Oba Abdulrasheed Shotobi on the menace of ritual killings in the area.
Sources in the area disclosed that the killers cut the iron bars on the window of the bungalow building where Pastor Kanayo resides with his family before gaining access into the house to carry out their mission.
Sources also hinted the pastor Kanayo and his family were the only ones living in the building because the landlord moved out some months ago as a result of increased security challenges in the area.
The resumed attack is coming on the heels of several efforts by the police to contain the resurgence of the badoo killings which died down after massive raids of several shrines in Agbowa and Imota axis suspected to be the base of the cultists.
