One Osarumwese Ogieva a former employee of Daar Communications limited owner of African Independent Television AIT and Ray Power has called on delegates to the December 9convention of the People’s Democratic Party PDP not to vote Raymond Dokpesi as their national chairman.
Ogieva who accused Dokpesi of owing his employees over a year’s worth of salary also said that during the eight years he worked at AIT, the company deducted pension contributions from his salaries but failed to transfer these funds to his pension fund administrator.
The former AIT staff while calling on PDP delegates said “please, don’t make another mistake because this man Dokpesi is not the right man for the chairmanship position. He cannot do the job because he is owing his staff salaries over one year,”
Meanwhile there are speculations that the ruling All Progressive Congress APC may use the economic and financial crimes commission EFCC to destabilize Mr. Dokpesi should he emerge as PDP national chairman over his alleged involvement in the N2.1 billion Dasukigate arms scandal.
