Just as criminal activities keep increasing on daily basis, so also security agencies across the country are having sleepless nights in order to curtail the excesses of these men of the underworld. The Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police in its quest to maintain the peace been enjoyed by indigenes and residents of the state has made another feat in the discovery of a bomb manufacturing factory.
The police were said to have swung into action following a tip off of bomb explosion in Iddo Okpella, Estako East local government area of Edo State which claimed the lives of the bomb manufacturer while one of them has his leg chopped off.
The police investigation led to the discovery of the bomb factory in a three bedroom flat located in Iddo Okpella area of Estako East local government area of the State.
Residents in the area who hinted that the explosion had caused many residents to flee for safety disclosed that the said building which accommodates some men from Kogi state has been deserted since Monday when the blast occurred.
It was gathered that shortly after the Monday evening blast, one of the occupants, who reportedly escaped with a car loaded with prepared explosives, arms and ammunitions, abandoned the vehicle along a bush path and fled.
