From the look of things, it appears that the notorious and deadly Fulani Herdsmen are hell bent in wiping out Benue state from the map of Nigeria. While the bereaved relations and the people of Benue are still mourning the killing of seventy-five people who died during the new year attack, another Five people were said to have been reportedly killed in renewed herdsmen attacks in Benue state.
The state Governor Samuel Ortom disclosed this when he received delegates and leaders of the South and Middle belt forum who paid a condolence visit at the Government house in Makurdi, the state capital.
According to Governor Ortom, the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore still rejects Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishment Law in the state and are also issuing threats to cause more mayhem on the people of Benue state.
