The health status of the Ghanain football legend, Abedi Pele has continued to be a source of concern for his fans and football lovers across the globe following an incident on Thursday which led to him been rushed to hospital.
The 77 years old Pele who was supposed to travel to London for an engagement on Friday according to the English Football Writers Association was said to have collapsed and rushed to hospital in his hometown in Ghana.
Pele whom the Football Writers Association had planned a dinner in his honor in series of tests carried out on him revealed that he was suffering from severe exhaustion.
The world acknowledged football icon it was gathered was unable to light the Olympic flame at the opening ceremony of the 2016 Games due to some health related challenge.
Pele was in the Ghana’s Samba Boys squad to the 1958, 1962 and 1970 World Cups is still on fluids and been monitored by Doctors for his recovery.
