The Antonio Conte’s English Premiere league side has completed 17.6 million pounds’ deal which landed 23 years old Brazilian defender Emerson from Roma to Chelsea Football Club in London.
The newly signed defender while expressing his joy on the club’s official website said, “i came here because it’s a great team with a great history. Today i am realizing one of my dreams to pull on the shirt of such a great club; English football is something I have been watching since I was 15 years old. It is a really beautiful game over here but it is going to be even more beautiful to play it”.
Aside from Emerson there are strong indications that Chelsea would also have a French striker Olivier Giroud from Arsenal pencil his signature for the club before the close of the January transfer.
