Dr. Thais Alaibadi asked the universe for help and it answered — or at least Kylie Jenner did. The Kylie Cosmetics founder (and one of Alaibadi’s most high-profile clients) just donated one million dollars to buy face masks, face shields, and other protective gear for healthcare professionals working on the front lines against COVID-19. “I am speechless, my eyes are filled with tears of joy and my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude,” writes Alaibadi — who is an OB-GYN at Cedars Sinai Medical Center— in an Instagram post breaking the news of the reality star’s donation. “I made a wish to the Universe to gather protective masks for our brave healthcare workers and today my dream came true.” This isn’t the first time Jenner did her part in trying to fight against COVID-19. She recently posted on her Instagram stories, asking fans to take this disease seriously and to stay at home. “The Coronavirus is a real thing,” she says. “I listened to the Surgeon General this morning and he definitely encouraged me to come on here so you guys can see and hear me. Please stay inside. Please practice social distancing and self-quarantining.”
